Website termination– End of Online Prescribing portal New system: Vision Online Patient Services

As many of you are aware we operate an online prescription ordering portal through our website. Unfortunately we have just recently been informed by the company that hosts this website that they will no longer be operating that side of their business. So we are having to move our website to another website hosting service. This will however be a completely new site and the Online Prescription portal on our current website system is not able to migrate over.

Our current website will transfer to a new host on Thursday 1st October. It should maintain most of it’s current appearance and the web address will stay the same: www.craigvineansurgery.scot.nhs.uk The online prescription portal on our current/old website will be monitored by our staff until   Friday 25th September. Please register before then with our new Vision Online Patient Services system.

All current users of our Online Prescription service will be emailed a copy of the registration form for the new system.

There are other ways to order your repeat prescription:

¨ Phone the Surgery and select Option 1 and leave your prescription request on our prescription answering service.

¨ Email your request to : TAY.craigvineanprescriptions@nhs.scot making sure along with the list of required medicine you include your full name and Date of Birth, as well as your preferred Pharmacy for collection.

¨ You can of course also order your prescription in person at the Surgery reception.

We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause you and thank you for your patience as we make this transition.
