The surgery has a software system in place which records incoming and outgoing calls. These calls are held on a secure server operated by our Telecom provider: Silvercloud.
We can access these calls if required and can download them to our computer system if need be. We keep the data in these calls to ensure we are providing you the best possible healthcare as described in our patient privacy policy.
Undownloaded calls are completely deleted from our Telecom providers servers one month after the call was made.
Upon calling the Surgery you will be advised that Calls are recorded. Calls made to you from the Surgery should start with the explanation that calls are recorded but understandably the GPs are often not very good at remembering to do this. All outgoing calls are automatically subject to call recording too by default, so please be aware that ALL calls we make to you are also subject to Call Recording.
