The following IT systems are in use at the practice:

• Referral Management (using NHS CHI numbers in referrals) via NHS Tayside Sci-Gateway portal.
• Electronic Medical Record which is maintained and added to with each contact with the Surgery from the patient or 3rd Parties. The software used is Vision and Docman.
• Online booking of repeat prescriptions through the Surgery website.
• Phone message recording of prescription requests
• Appointment text reminders managed by the Vision software
• GP to GP transfers (the electronic transfer of records from practice to practice when you re-register)
• IGPR used to create patient record files to facilitate Subject Access Requests and Insurance and other Medical reports.
• Dermatology Camera
• ECG machine which sends results direct to Cardiology
• R-Test heart event monitor results shared with Cardiology
• Lexacom dictation software
